Once upon a time, at the end of a local women’s bluegrass jam, some pickers hung around and had way too much fun playing and singing together to not form a band, and Bitchcraft, or B*craft, was born. 

At a Bitchcraft show, you’ll be met with a group of experienced bluegrass and roots musicians bringing you the music that makes their hearts sing, from traditional bluegrass standards, driving old time tunes, to beautifully crafted originals that leave the room feeling different. Since their first public performance at the California Bluegrass Association’s Father’s Day Festival, the band has been well received by casual and listening-room audiences alike, and they continue to play throughout the Bay Area.

A note from the band: Bitchcraft believes in music that supports community. For this reason, we donate a portion of money from every show to charity. Music touches hearts - it brings a community together with all the good feelings - so why not a little change in action, too?
